Doyle’s Coole Equestrian Centre is situated adjacent to Lisnavagh Estate by the picturesque village of Rathvilly in what is one of the most scenic areas in carlow. Personalised attention from the highly qualified owners and staff is assured. We are the largest equestrian Centre in the county with 2 indoor arenas measuring 60m x40m and 40m x 25m, outdoor arena 60m x 40m and 1200 acres on the adjacent Lisnavagh Estate.

One of the most established woodturners in Ireland today is Glenn Lucas. Once a month, Glenn runs classes from his workshop in Co Carlow. Contact Glenn to talk about your preference for 1 day, 2 day or 3 day. Each turner has a lathe and tool panel with all necessary tools and chucks. All wood is supplied. If you wish to bring your own tools please feel free to do so. Classes run from 9-5 with a break for home cooked lunch.

Country Quads provides exciting and fun packed activities, all year round and for all ages from 8 upwards in a beautiful rural location in Co Carlow. We welcome individuals, families, groups of friends or corporate groups and you can choose from a range of activities, including exciting Quad Bike Trails, Clay Pigeon Shooting and now our unique Shooting Cinema.

Mobile outdoor pursuits company. Kayaking trips, kayaking courses, rock climbing, abseiling, mountain hikes, archery, orienteering, multi-activity days. We cater mainly for the beginner and complete novice, up to intermediates, so no experience is necessary. Our activities are for individuals and groups of 2 or 3 or up to 12 people of all ages and abilities. Adventure Days is run by highly qualified and experienced kayaking and mountaineering instructors. All our activities are run and equipment used is to the highest safety standards. All our instructors are highly qualified and experienced in various outdoor pursuits.

Set in the magnificent grounds of Borris House, ancestral home to the High Kings of Leinster. Come and enjoy the spectacular scenery with over 650 acres of parkland and woodland, fringed by the River Barrow, and with a Mountain River running through the grounds. The estate has views of both Mount Leinster and Mount Brandon. Spend quality time away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Our horses and ponies are suitable for both novice and experienced rider, and all rides are accompanied by a fully qualified instructor. Packages can be designed to suit your individual requirements. Riders may also bring their own horse, and accomodation is available for both horse and rider.

Our Club was founded in 1899. The course is naturally free draining and ensures that you will not be disappointed with the course condition no matter what time of the year you wish to play. Carlow Golf Club is one of the finest inland courses in Ireland, and is an excellent challenge for golfers of all standards. We have hosted such prestigious tournaments as the 2002 Irish Close Championship and the 2005 World One-Arm Championship, as well as being the home of Ireland's oldest scratch cup, the Midland Scratch Cup.
