Cavan Crystal Design opened an extensive, brand new, stylish showroom in 2003, alongside the contemporary Cavan Crystal Hotel. It now offers an excellent range of giftware as well as their beautiful range of Cavan Crystal. While their range maintains its traditional standards, it has also been expanded to include some more contemporary ranges like the Balavaun and Opus Suites. Family Run Pet farm with animals from all over the world including camels, llamas, alpacas, wallabys, 10ft snakes, swans, emus, ducks, geese and lots more. facilities include coffee shop, indoor and outdoor viewing areas, children’s play area, heritage museum, organic vegetable patches and free car park. Shows at Christmas, Halloween, Easter and bank holidays.

Belturbet, one of Cavan's most attractive and historic towns on the River Erne, is the scene of an exciting new heritage tourism project. The old Great Northern Railway cutstone railway station, built in 1885 has been fully restored and now houses an interesting exhibition telling the story of the railway age here, and a fascinating collection of railway memorabilia. Old rolling stock is currently being restored and will be on view to visitors. An audio visual show and local craft display will shortly be added. Other facilities include conference facilities and superior budget accommodation.

The museum aims to collect, conserve and ultimately display the material heritage and culture of Co. Cavan and its environs, for the benefit of the public. Exhibition galleries feature unique artefacts dating from the stone age up until the twentieth century, material spanning over 6000 wars of occupation in Cavan. Displays of notable interest include the Killycluggin stone and the three-faced Corleck Head, two of the most recognisable examples of Celtic spirituality in the country.
