At West Cork Surf School instructors are in the water with you at all times to make you feel comfortable; and to help you reach that ultimate goal of catching your first wave! Lessons run all year, and the School is open seven days a week throughout the summer. During the winter months individuals and small/large groups are catered for on Saturdays and Sundays and large groups (8+) during the week.

Located in the traditional farming community of Ballinhassig, the gateway to beautiful West Cork, Tulligmore Equestrian Centre is a very popular riding centre in an area known for its thriving equestrian environment. Just 10 kilometres from the bustling city of Cork, this working farm offers visitors an insight into every element of daily farm life, but the horses will always remain a firm favourite.

Ballyhass Lakes is an activity centre for adults and families providing a range of activities all on one site. The main activities are trout fishing, kayaking, rock climbing, archery, abseiling low ropes course, raft building and team games. The lakes are open for fishing all year round from 9.00am to dusk – no reservation needed. The other activities need to be pre-booked and are suitable for groups of 6 or more.

Sea Safari boat trips. Whale, dolphin and seal watching. Also coastal sightseeing tours around the Islands. Enjoy these and more during a two hour boat trip with Baltimore Sea Safari. A fifteen minutes harbour thrill trip, a forty five minutes evening adventure trip, a water taxi service and private or commercial charters are also available.

The parkland course is within the demesne boundary walls of the old Kingston Estate, set in a valley of the Galtee Mountains. It offers the golfer a gentle undulating walk. The course rewards straight hitters but be warned strategically placed bunkers and water hazards await you. The quality of the fairways and greens are among the best in Munster. The club extends a warm welcome to golfers be they individual, society or corporate. Discount may apply to groups of more than 12 persons. Contact the clubhouse for further information.

Youghal Golf Club sits atop the town, proudly overlooking a panoramic vista of beautiful sea views, with Capel Island guarding the mouth of the bay. For many years the club has hosted various Golfing Union Inter Club Championships and Shields, recognition of the fact that it offers a good test of golf. The course is well maintained and playable all year round.
