Brigit’s Garden offers a magical experience for all ages. The beautiful gardens are themed on the Celtic festivals and are set within 11 acres of woodland and wildflower meadows. Relax in the basket swings and sit on the ancient throne, explore the nature trail and stone chamber. Figure out the Calendar Sundial, the largest sundial in Ireland, and get a glimpse of Iron Age life in the crannóg

Situated behind the famous Spanish Arch, Galway City Museum houses exhibitions which explore aspects of the history and heritage of Galway City, focussing on the medieval town, the Claddagh village and Galway, 1800-1950. In addition to these core exhibitions, the Museum mounts temporary exhibitions and hosts a variety of exhibits from other museums, galleries and special interest groups. Of the highlights of the Museum are the Galway Civic Sword and Great Mace.

Feed & cuddle the animals on the visitor farm. Two outdoor playgrounds, football pitch, indoor play-area with bouncing castles, indoor & outdoor picnic areas, coffee shop and Turoe Stone. Special event bank holiday weekends during the year - Easter Egg Hunt, Hallowe'en Party, Illuminated Christmas Village. Balloon Modelling & Clowning Meet "Mother Goose with lots of surprises" "Inflatable City" indoor play maze and bouncing castles, live music, fun & games, light lunches & refreshments available. All groups catered for, but must be pre booked.

Absorbing and informative displays tracing the history of the horse can be found at Dartfield Horse Museum in Loughrea, County Galway, the only museum in the world dedicated to Irish horses, Connemara Ponies and Irish dogs, and their contribution to Irish society throughout the years.

The National Parks & Wildlife Service welcomes you to Coole Park which, together with the adjoining Garryland, is a Nature Reserve of Breeding Deer at Coole Park and Gardens, Gort, Co. Galway, Ireland. Approximately 405 hectares(1000 acres). The seven woods celebrated by W.B. Yeats are part of the 6 kilometres of nature trails taking in woods, river, turlough, bare limestone and Coole lake
