For girls and Boys aged from 9-17, Whizzkids Summercamps are all about having fun with technology. Using state of the art facilities at Ireland’s top Universities, UCD, DCU, UCC, UL & NUIG, children will learn to design their own web site, make a movie and undertake a host of hi-tech challenges with digital camera's, PDA's and MP4's as part of the Whizzkids Spy Academy. With time spent indoors and out, there will be a healthy mix of action to keep everyone active with sports, video games and much, much more.

Tons of Fun is an indoor children's activity centre providing a safe, clean, exciting play and adventure experience for children ages 0 - 11 years. The centre offers three separate play areas for different age groups, disco room, roller racers, private party rooms, comfortable seating for adults and a coffee shop serving drinks and snacks, smoothies and a juice bar. Open daily for individual play. Parent-Toddler drop in sessions Monday-Friday between 10.00hrs and 13.00hrs term time only (no booking required). Animal Magic with Rosie Campbell We have been visiting Schools, Colleges and Libraries providing lectures on wild animals and birds, their habitats and lifestyles, for over 15 years. Our aims are to conserve our natural heritage of wild creatures and their habitats through education, captive breeding, rescue, care and rehabilitation. We have entertained many thousands, not only with our Lectures but also with Falconry Displays and Mini Zoos at Fairs, Fetes and Corporate events. Whatever the event, the thing that is of paramount importance to us is the welfare of the many birds and animals who act as ambassadors for their relatives in the wild.

The University Arena is Ireland's largest indoor sports facility and home to the national 50 metre pool. At the arena we pride ourselves on offering a vast range of facilities and services for everyone, from the complete beginner to the elite athlete.

Shannon Estuary R.I.B Tours cater for people who want to experience the thrill and adventure of powerboating on the river Shannon. Offering passengers licenced boat trips on the river Shannon to explore the surroundings and the rich birdlife and sealife on offer. Experience the thrill of powerboating on a rigid inflatable boat. Visit historical sites including Beeves Rock Lighthouse, Foynes Island and Scattery Island. We are based in Foynes and offer a number of different departure points including Tarbert, Foynes. and Limerick City. Each trip can accommodate eight passengers. It is fully licenced by the Department Of Transport. Wet gear is provided.

Go Karting is an exciting energetic outdoor motor sport activity for those wishing to experience a competitive session of speed and thrill with their opponents. Abbeyspeedway is currently the largest karting track in Munster. The Abbeyspeedway track team monitor the racers performance, lap times and provide document feedback. Expert advice is given on kart racing techniques. Our technical team work to ensure high standards in kart performance and safety. The viewing area is ideal for the spectators to watch the races clearly with enthusiasm, while also experiencing an idyllic view of the surrounding countryside.
