Boyce Gardens
These one acre prize winning Gardens are situated off the N69 road overlooking the tranquil beauty of the River Shannon. The Gardens have been developed over a period of twenty years by the Boyce family. Designed for year round colour, the Gardens are divided into a number of informal rooms which provide a microclimate for the many colourful and tender plants that grow here.

Buttercup Farm
Traditional farm with a large selection of farm animals including Cattle, Sheep, Pigs, Fowl & Exotic Birds. Facilities include a playground, picnic area and horse & cart riding. Adare Heritage Centre
Historical Exhibition - giving the history of Adare in 5 different languages dating back to the 1200's. Also housed in the centre are very attractive craft shops, Tourist Information Office and a 70 seater restaurant. Desmond Castle Tours - Guided tours of Desmond Castle have commenced. The tours are conducted daily in the months of June, July, August and September and may be booked through the Adare Heritage Centre. Adults: €6. This includes transfer by coach to and from the Castle.

Limerick Garden Trail
The Limerick Garden trail contains 6 of the best gardens in the region, many have won National Awards and have featured in gardening magazines. The garden trail contains gardens that range in size from small to very large gardens, from new to old gardens, so there is something to stimulate the novice and experienced gardener. Irish Palatine Heritage Museum
In 1709 several families of German origin settled in Ireland. Known as the Palatines, they established roots mainly in County Limerick. This exhibition tells their story. The Centre features an extensive display of artefacts, photographs, graphics, etc. associated with the Palatine story. It is set in landscaped surroundings and includes an archive, a tea-room, gift selection and bus/car park.
