Ghan House is a tree length away from Medieval Carlingford set within walled grounds. It has magnificent views of the Lough, Mourne Mountains or Slieve Foy from the restaurant and all the bedrooms. All double and twin rooms have bath, shower en-suite and family antiques. The restaurant is usually in the drawing room with views of the Lough. Dinner is at a leisurely pace - uniquely these days it seems, you have your table for the whole evening. The restaurant has been favourably reviewed in The Irish Times, Sunday Tribune and The Guardian.

The Gateway boasts a delightful conservatory where you can enjoy a cup of coffee while watching the world pass by. The Gateway is famous for its cappuchino and large range of home produced salads and meats.

Magee’s is a well established casually styled restaurant just off the square in a little side street that reeks of history with the old gate and Mint right on its doorstep. The easy going décor does not detract however from the accomplished cooking on the plate which shows creativity, experience and confidence that only comes with time. It is only open for dinner and in fine weather simple lunchtime snacks and eating al fresco on the terrace are accommodated.
