The Louisburgh Rent - A- Cottage Scheme has emerged from long traditions of befriending the traveller. When we, the people of Louisburgh, County Mayo, decided to build ten cottages right next to our village, it was because we wanted our visitors to come as neighbours, not as strangers. We want you to feel at home among us. Renting a cottage sets you free of clocks and fixed meal times. With your cottage as your private hideaway, you can come and go as the fancy takes you, in an atmosphere of peace and informality.
