They are carrying on the time tradition started by their mother, Chrissie, who has been associated with looking after customers for well over 50 years. In 2004 they renovated the bar area and added the restaurant. The restaurant seats up to 45 and specialises in steak and is known for it's quality throughout South Tipperary.

It has expanded and developed into a business which is now almost an institution rather than just a pub.
