Bates Restaurant
Bates Restaurant occupies the picturesque stone building originally opened as Bates Inn in 1785. In a cobbled lane just off the market place in scenic Rathdrum, the buildings have been used in many film sets. After more than 200 hundred years of various uses, the inn was returned to its original purpose, with the establishment of Bates Restaurant in 2006. The restaurant can accommodate up to fifty diners, and is wheelchair accessible. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and families are welcome. At Bates we use seasonal, local and artisan produced ingredients whenever possible, and pride ourselves in offering real food for real prices.
