Ballard farm has been host to holiday makers for over twenty years. Since the conversion to self-accommodation of two of the main farm buildings, Swallow Barn and The Granary, we now have many regular visitors and always enjoys meeting new guests. Both houses are open all year round. Pets are welcome with prior arrangement.

The two cottages in our courtyard (Bramble and Hawthorn coach houses) have three double bedrooms each and all have en - suite facilities. Each of the coach houses has been magnificently designed by our interior designer. They are comprised of a sumptuous sitting room, kitchen / diner, three en -suite bedrooms and laundry facilities. Facilities also include TV in all bedrooms, a DVD player, dishwasher, microwave, full kitchen facilities, stereo system, etc. Off - street parking is also included and each house has all modern conveniences.

It's also cleverly designed, with bedrooms tucked away downstairs, and angled so as not to overlook one another. … Fortunately we stay for dinner: minted soup served with three homemade breads, followed by salmon from Cleggan and really fresh vegetables including a yummy carrot puree.
